Andover Store Manager

Bruce Gove

Bruce Gove

Bruce Gove is the Store Manager of Koopman Lumber’s Andover location and has spent his entire career in the lumber business. Originally from Beverly, Massachusetts, Bruce got his start at just 16 years old working in his family’s business, Gove Lumber.

Over the years, he has done nearly every job in the business, including yard service, load building, receiving, driving, contractor sales, estimating, purchasing, bookkeeping, and executive leadership. That depth of experience makes him an invaluable problem-solver for customers tackling building projects of all kinds.

Bruce loves watching his team grow and earn new opportunities within Koopman, and he is proud of the professionalism and teamwork that define the Andover store.

Outside of work, Bruce is deeply involved in his community, from maintaining a 200-year-old church building to cooking meals for people in need and helping low-income residents with home repairs. He also plays saxophone and clarinet in two bands.
