Bob Boilard
Bob Boilard is the Store Manager of Koopman Lumber’s Meriden, Connecticut location and brings a lifetime of industry experience to the role. He was previously the owner of the Indian Orchard business, originally founded by his grandfather in 1936, and later served as Vice President of A. Boilard Sons, Inc. before joining the Koopman family.
Over the course of his career, Bob has worked across nearly every area of the business, including purchasing, vendor negotiations, HR, finance, and operations. He also brings valuable leadership experience from 21 years in municipal government, including 12 years as an elected official.
Bob is known for his thoughtful, customer-first approach, taking time to listen, understand each customer’s needs, and guide them toward the right solution. He is especially proud of the strong culture his long-tenured team has built in Indian Orchard and the reputation they have earned in the community.
