What Is Benjamin Moore?
back in 1883 brothers Benjamin and Robert Moore opened a company called “Moore Brothers” in Brooklyn, New york. They started with just $2,000 and a single product, “Moore’s Prepared Calsom Finish. They sold exclusively through independent retailers, believing in the American Spirit and entrepreneurial talents of those local retailers.
Today, Benjamin Moore is owned by the Berkshire Hathaway company, joining a number of other families under the direction of Warren Buffet. This family of like-minded businesses has propelled Benjamin Moore to the forefront of the paint market, and for good reason!
