Do you get sick of weeds? I discovered a very effective solution in my yard this year. I created some new perennial flower beds around my deck by spreading new screened loam and putting in a beautiful assortment of plants from Koopman Lumber’s greenhouses. Around these plants I spread Preen Weed Preventer. In a similar area, I planted some seed plants. I decided not to do landscape fabric and mulch in most of the areas. In the pictures here, you can see where I used the Preen around the perennials, and didn’t use it around the seed plants. Bear in mind, this is all the same loam and other than the plants I put in and the Preen I put down, the conditions are identical. So as you can see, the Preen did a phenomenal job of keeping the weeds away!
